We must allow ourselves to question the foundation our errors are built upon. Have we betrayed the solid ground of liberty with a capitalist theocracy? How fair is laissez-faire. They say “life’s not fair,” but aren’t we civilized, rationalized, so as not to be victimized and ostracized? Do we not seek unity to ensure our liberty? But are we unified or uniformed? As the architects of conformity build a monopolistic monarchy of privilege with a price, the defenders of democracy can’t pay the bills so their children are force fed the waste of wage labor gleaning beneath the frenzied feeding of the gluttonous. While in the slums of salvation the empty bellies burn with revolution while the brutal hunger strips their strength of scrutiny and they can only remit themselves as the rightful sacrifice of a system because life’s not fair and nothing is guaranteed in this constitutional corpse of a free new world built on the genocide of it’s natives. Our solid ground of liberty is not built upon the holy lands of our ancestors but on the desecrated remains of a holocaust by our own hands and yet we don’t understand why still we cry for liberty, equality, justice.

As our houses harbor prisons, the foundations of betrayal mask the mortar of misinformation. Awake from your crypts of condominiums. Outside there are skies and tides and trees that we commit treason against in the name of progress. And the truth is damned in the rivers and drained in the sewers of our discard of product and people and people as product. We are doomed with our earth because we lay our foundation of destruction into that which we destroy. And when our walls crumble we will sleep beneath a suspicious sky that knows our destiny much more than we destine ourselves to it. So we must awake now to knock down our walls before they crumble, pull up the foundations that pollute our land with poverty, and sow the seeds of liberty in solid ground. If you sleep now to lullabies that sing so sweetly of beautiful lies, you will not wake to sow the seed in open mouths that revolutions feed, to construct for humanity’s need, to crumble the capitalist’s greed, and set Mother Earth and her people free.
